The title of this relief print is "The Debt's Been Paid" This is a four color reduction wood cut done on a discarded ceiling fan blade (not exactly wood but press board). In reduction printing, you ink the entire board with the desired color, ie yellow, and print it. Then you cut away from the board the areas you want to remain yellow. Ink the board with the next color, ie pink, and print over the first color and only the areas you cut out remain yellow. Continue until all colors are printed and there's not much left of the board. Does that make sense?
