Three pears watercolor, about 18 x 24

I love artichokes. My Mom use to fixed them stuffed and they were out of this world! I haven't perfected Mom's stuffed artichokes yet. This is a watercolor in progress. I still have a few leaves to paint.

This is a 10 minute sketch I did as an example while teaching a kids art class. It's oil pastel on black paper. They did a great job on their stillife drawings. I wish I had photos of their work.
